Oral Presentation Template

Oral Paper Presentation Guidelines

  • Prepare your presentation on Microsoft Power Point.
  • The PPT should be in the AICOG 2023 template, which can be downloaded by CLICKING HERE.
  • Upload your presentation one day before your presentation, in the preview room. This is mandatory.
  • Videos, graphics or images in your presentation should be compatible with the latest computer software version (Windows 10 & above).
  • Allotted time of presentation is 06 minutes beyond which the screen will automatically turn off. This will be followed by 02 minutes of interaction. It will be the decision of the chairpersons to allow you to complete your talk if it exceeds beyond allotted time.
  • A digital timer will be visible to assist with time keeping.
  • Chairpersons will interrupt, if you exceed the allotted time limit.
  • The session hall will be staffed with an AV technician who will assist in starting each presentation.
  • You will be able to control your presentation using the mouse provided on the podium or up/down/right/left keys on the laptop keyboard.
  • Competitive papers should not mention their guide’s or any other names.

E-Poster Paper Presentation Guidelines

    li>The E-poster will be displayed on standard 42” LCD TV.
  • File format should be PowerPoint (.PPT) CLICK HERE to download the PPT template.
  • Total size of the presentation should not exceed 05 MB.
  • The e-poster should have only 01 (one) slide.
  • Animation/ movies/ sounds will not be supported; please submit in a static PPT format only

Design Specifications/ Suggestions

  • Title of the e-poster should be mentioned on top of the slide and the text should include (as separate subheading/ elements of the poster) Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion and Acknowledgements
  • The poster should be self-explanatory. Text should be brief and well organized.
  • It is suggested that font size of the text should be readable on your laptop/ computer screen. The typeface chosen should be a simple and clear one (e.g., Helvetica, Calibri Body)
  • The correct font size depends greatly on the fonts used in the ppt and the thumb rule should be that if its visible well on the computer screen it shall be visible on the E-Poster Display Screen.
  • Colour suggestions: o When using light backgrounds (white, yellow, light blue) we suggest using dark fonts (black, navy blue, dark green) o When using dark backgrounds (blue, purple) we suggest using light fonts (white, yellow, cyan) o Avoid using red or green in any fonts or backgrounds as they are colours that are difficult to read  Illustrations/ images/ photographs used in the E-poster should be enlarged enough to show relevant details
  • Kindly note that all competitive e-posters should be without their guide names.
